Attorney as Financial Advisor

Having a legal background in financial law is an extremely useful resource for a career in wealth management.

Practicing law and advising clients in legal issues has taught me to see more; I see the the advantages, and the risks, that others may fail to account for. Furthermore, success as a financial advisor depends on a strong desire to help people, as an attorney, most of my clients where sitting in front of me because things hadn’t gone according to plan, but it was as an attorney that I learned how to be an advisor. As a financial advisor most days my clients who sit across from me are there because life is going according to plan and they want to make sure that they put the steps in place to give themselves the best chance for that to continue.

There are other career backgrounds that can pave the way to being a successful financial planner, but the practice of law prepares a financial advisor better than most others to give meaningful advice to clients.

Knowledge is power

My legal background has provided me with the analytical skills necessary to accomplish real solutions for my clients, that they otherwise would have been unaware of had I not had the legal experience that I bring to the planning process.

If you are looking for an advisor that has the skills and resources to help you develop a true financial plan our office would like to have a chance to visit with you about your situation.
